I don't get it. He comes so close to making an actual argument right at the beginning, when he compares abortion the Dred Scott case. All he had to do is show that a foetus is a person and then he would have shown that abortion is murder and he could get on with his argument that the current trend is towards genocide. But his whole argument is unsound because he simply assumes that a foetus is a person, a claim that is quite debatable.
Oh, and I'd say that the argument is invalid too. Although it may be true that abortion rates may be higher in the African-American population he'd need to show, firstly, that this is a significant cause of their decline as a proportion of the US population (as opposed to mere increases in other ethnic groups, contraception etc.). And, secondly, he'd need to show that this was the deliberate goal of the "white abortionists". (Just as accidentally killing someone is manslaughter, not murder, you have to be trying to commit genocide.)
Given that the Bible is silent about abortion, I would have thought that he'd be better off using the sermon to put forth an argument for why Christians should see a foetus as a person, instead of repeating the platitudes about God's forgiveness (under the misleading title of "Abortion and the Gospel"). It's just ludicrous to tell people to seek forgiveness before you've convinced them that they've done anything wrong!
